Our stay was absolutely excellent! We had the chance to stay in stayed in both the villa and a chalet. Each was spotless, spacious and clearly brand new. so we were able to experience both. After camping in the bush for 3 nights, it was a treat to relax in such a clean and quiet setting. The restaurant on the water was so charming and the food was clearly prepared with love and intention. What truly made our stay special was the staff. We really got to know them, which really enhances the experience. They quickly learned our names, were incredibly accommodating, and always happy to engage—whether answering questions or simply chatting. The owner of the property was frequently on site, a clear sign of the dedication that goes into running this property.

Super host Irene was without doubt the most helpful person on my whole trip. Not only for arranging game drives and river cruises, but also for anything else you might need. Can't say enough good things about her willingness to provide assistance whenever needed. The cottages themselves are quite nice and good quality for the price, and the location is quiet due to its distance from the main roads. Wouldn't change a thing about the stay.

The little convenient store was very well stocked !!! More than I expected with good meat and Chicken and fresh Veggies!! And a lot more! The Birdwalk with Stone is not to be missed... He is a wonderful guide.. we saw 50 spesies an 6 lifers!!! Amazing .... The foodplanes were flooded , so we had amazing views and beautiful Sunsets. Thank You Muchenje Campsite.... Located 60 km from the town of Kasane, Muchenje Campsite and Cottages is close to the Ngoma Gate of the Chobe National Park. Beautiful cottage and enjoyed the morning bird walk with Stone (guide)
