Excellent location, well positioned in a quiet area and within easy walking access to the main centre. Efficient and friendly staff, especially the hostess, who helped me so much and went above and beyond to make my stay there extremely smooth. She helped me organize so many things and was truly a blessing. I appreciated being able to leave my Hire vehicle parked securely there whilst I went for a short trip to Zimbabwe. Also assisted me to organize the shuttle transport to and from Zimbabwe as well - really extremely helpful. Clean and spacious room, and an excellent breakfast. I really enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommended.

It was truly one of the nicest hotel experiences I have ever had and it is mostly thanks to the incredible host Chimney. He is a remarkable person and host. He helped us so much when we had a car break down and drove us across Savuti to Khwai (which is an incredible distance). I highly recommend staying here and booking meals and activities with Chimney. His game drives were fantastic and he has a great chef who makes wonderful food. The lodge itself is very simple and comfortable with a very reasonable price but the extras are what makes the place extraordinary. Chimney is also a community leader and many things that he is doing is to help his entire village. It is clear the lodge is a labor of love for him and he built it on the site of his grandmother's house.

We had a wonderful time for our 2 nights in Tent no 1 at Muchenje. From the moment I start to communicate with Hayden... He was so very helpful! Our check in and the staff were very friendly.. The little convenient store was very well stocked !!! More than I expected with good meat and Chicken and fresh Veggies!! And a lot more! The Birdwalk with Stone is not to be missed... He is a wonderful guide.. we saw 50 spesies an 6 lifers!!! Amazing .... The foodplanes were flooded , so we had amazing views and beautiful Sunsets. Thank You Muchenje Campsite.... Located 60 km from the town of Kasane, Muchenje Campsite and Cottages is close to the Ngoma Gate of the Chobe National Park. Perfect location for visiting Chobe through the Ngama gate, which is much quieter than the Kasane side. The grounds are lovely and everything is well spaced for privacy. The cottage was spacious, clean and well appointed. The owner, Hayden, is super knowledgeable about travel, wildlife, etc. In the area and very generous with his time helping his customers plan visits to the park or onward travel.
