The family-run Bristol hotel is situated in a central yet quiet location in Zermatt, between the train station and the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It offers a spa area and free WiFi in all areas. Heaven on Earth!! Perfect location, in the heart of the town and 5min walk to the ski lift. Friendly staff, smooth check-in, clean rooms and amazing facilities. We especially loved the breakfast buffet where you can make your own waffels and pancakes while enjoying the view of the Matterhorn. Will definitely be back. Higly recommend Hotel Bristol!!

Centrally located in Zermatt, 300 metres from the train station, Hotel Walliserhof Zermatt is built in typical Valais chalet style and offers a spa area with sauna and a hot tub. Location, view, atmosphere, and breakfast were all amazing. Bed was memory foam and on the fermer side

Newly refurbished, very clean, smart room and bathroom, well equipped and modern decor. Staff were very friendly, especially the owner who really liked after us and had a good sense of humour. We had a great dinner in the restaurant and breakfast was also very good with lots of choice. Parking was easy. Easy access to fabulous walks from the chair lift just up the road. Hotel is in a pretty little village with several other restaurants so there was choice. We didn't us the gym or sauna so cannot comment.

Set in Martigny-Ville, within 44 km of Train station Montreux and 37 km of Mont Fort, Martigny Youth Hostel provides free WiFi throughout the property. I arrived very late and everything was pretty arranged. No hassles.

Stunning views, cozy stay – just a few things to be aware of The location is absolutely beautiful – the view is breathtaking! The road up is a typical mountain road with narrow, winding sections, so drive carefully. 🏡 Our apartment was clean and well-maintained. The bedroom was very comfortable – the bed was great, though the pillows are quite big and high, which might not suit everyone. 🍳 The kitchen is fully equipped, but a few items are a bit worn – for example, the potato peeler was rusty. Also, note that there is no soap or shower gel in the bathroom, so make sure to bring your own. A funny detail: if you need extra toilet paper, you have to request it at reception and pay 0.50 CHF per roll. 🧼 Overall cleanliness was very good. There was a bit of dust in some areas – maybe the apartment hadn’t been used since winter – but towels and linens were fresh and clean. 🚗 Parking is available, but it’s paid. Getting from the parking lot to the room was a bit confusing – we had to switch between three elevators – but you do receive a map with instructions, so don’t worry too much. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 There’s a small play area for kids with a lovely terrace where parents can relax and enjoy the view. It could use a few more games or toys to make it more engaging. 👀 Our room didn’t have a direct view, but that wasn’t a problem – the terrace offers amazing scenery, and even the walk from the parking lot gives you incredible views. 🤝 The staff was polite and helpful, though not particularly warm – they could be a bit friendlier. 💸 Overall, the value for money was very good, and I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain escape with all the basics covered.

Modern hotel. Spacious and tidy rooms. Super clean. Awesome view. Very good location: 5 min walking from Täsch train station. Good breakfast. Nice staff. I highly recommend staying here.

SWISSPEAK Resorts Zinal er staðsett í Zinal, 40 km frá Crans-sur-Sierre og býður upp á gistirými með verönd, einkabílastæði, veitingastað og bar. We loved that our room had a balcony and we could hear the river flowing outside. We also loved having a kitchen as meals in town were expensive so it was great to cook in a bit and have breakfast in the morning. The beds were very comfortable. The location was convenient to hiking, transit stops, shops and restaurants in town. The room was cozy but very well appointed and great for our group of 4 adults.
