Our group had people staying in the double room and also the 8pax dorm. The rooms and bunks were all very comfortable and clean, the lighting were all very adequate. For the double room, I rate it equal or even better than some of the hotels we have stayed at in Xiamen. Lush towels provided. The bunks were super comfortable with crisp white sheets and good lighting, and even bottled water supplied daily. They provided lockers unlock by fingerprint which made it very convenient to access. Bathrooms were very clean and even had heated toilet seats. The design of the rooms was thoughtful. The staff even better. One came to me while I was in their laundry room,even after he had knocked off from work, to follow up on our laundry which we needed to transfer from the washing machine to the dryer and needed their help with the activation of the machine via their apps (we couldn’t use). I was so impressed. All their staff were friendly and helpful. They did their best to make sure we had a good stay. Their common area had a bar counter, pool table and other facilities that served to round guests up for movie nights or in general, a good place to chill and mingle.

The host was absolutely friendly and she even helped me with renting a scooter. It’s not too much, but definitely worth the price! Clean, tidy, everything what one needs. The shared bathrooms were more than okay as well. Next time in Kinmen I will come again!

We did not have a scooter license but owner was super kind and offered to help us call a cab anytime we needed one. Ther was also transfers to/from airport/ferry terminal. Room was very comfortable and when we went the weather was great so we opened the window for natural ventilation. Bed was bigger than a queen size so it was really comfortable. Toilet was big enough and spacious. They even offered to bring me to harvest mussels and clams as it was the season! Very unique experience. And as we were also there to catch the blue tears, the owners would let us know when there is this phenomenon and have also kindly given us a lift to see this natural and rare phenomenon! It was such a precious experience!

The views from the home are spectacular and the interior of the old home is beautifully preserved. The breakfast and dinner was composed of local specialities and was delicious. The homemade wine is great and I recommend making sure to take a bottle home. The location is very convenient for getting to and from the airport and host was kind enough to make sure we got our taxi on time to and from the airport.
