Well located, just a 15 min drive from SJO.

Good to have proper coverings for the windows that blocked out light. It was so quiet here at night. Lovely grounds with lots of birds and a troop of howler monkeys visited whilst we were there. Dinner was exceptional. No menu just said we ate everything and a large tray for the two of us arrived. It was all so tasty. Definitely recommend this place as a convenient overnight stay before or after getting the boat to Tortugero.

This "Guest House" is huge. A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!
