The staff is super friendly, they showed animals to us (there is a big family of monkeys living literally next and above you), in the evening they catched fish for kids to show. Thousands of birds! We had a very nice dinner prepared for us also. Very recommended!

Kitchen is big and nice. You have so much space

We loved the views from the property and the size of the house is great. Very reasonable price for the house and a great location with lots to do within driving distance. We loved the waterfalls and the gardens.

A family of 4+ could easily move in here and live comfortably. The back decks are beautiful to just sit and watch the jungle. It is a little way down the road from the city, which means it is quiet and very laid back. I had both a breakfast and a dinner while at the guest house. Both were great portions with a lot of variety, tasty, and well worth the money. Unfortunately, my schedule and Wendy's schedule didn't align for her bird tour. There was lots of flora and fauna to explore. My personal sightings included Toucans and a Morpha butterfly. I'm willing to bet that there was a lot I missed that Wendy could have found and shared!

The interior is as a museum. The hosts were very nice. Very comfortable and luxurious room; you're treated like royalty.

This place is charming and confortable.

Casa Ecológica - Sarapiqui er sumarhús með garði með verönd, staðsett í La Virgen. Gististaðurinn er með útsýni yfir fjöllin og er í 49 km fjarlægð frá San José. Middle of the rainforest sits their cute little wood cabin. There is not glass only mesh windows which is nice but a bit loud in the night with animals and rain. The washroom is clean with warm water shower that requires a bit of tinkering to get. Wendy and her family was so nice to us even though we only stayed a day. The location is near the Tirimbina reserve so we stayed here for the night walk. Cute dog too! Hummingbirds were right outside the cabin feasting on flowers.
