Arriving in late November 2023, I found the beach adjacent to the property to be a vast and secluded paradise. The clean sea water was inviting, and I relished the luxury of having the entire beach to myself. The enormity of the beach coupled with the absence of crowds created a tranquil setting for unwinding. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the national park trails leading to the majestic mountains. Hiking and climbing rewarded me with breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The sheer beauty of the scenery, coupled with the crisp, fresh air, made for an unforgettable experience. The solitude and tranquility at the mountain's peak allowed me to connect with nature in a way that I had long yearned for. The local people of Pachyammos added to the charm of the place. Their warmth and hospitality enhanced my overall experience, making me feel like a welcomed guest rather than a tourist. As a nature lover, this destination exceeded my expectations. The place provided a comfortable and cozy retreat after days filled with exploration. The nights were equally enchanting, with a beautiful starlit sky enhancing the overall ambiance. In Alona (the village where "To Apokentro" is situated) the temperature is 8-10 grades less than on the shore. So, it's much more comfortable in July and in August. 1nd. The house is perfect. Fully equipped and extraordinarily clean. 2rd. The owner is great. If the internet is slow, he fixes it. If you want some local food, he brings it. If you have any questions, he answers. And does not disturb you! 3rd Very quiet place. You can walk for an hour and don't meet a car. People in the village are very friendly (but don't speak English well) and ready to help. Be ready to say "Yasas" or "Hello" 15-20 times per hour). And the last thing. If you work remotely, this is a great place! Nothing disturbs you and you can focus!

Also with a 300 meter drive there is a Bakery that have many things that fit to a perfect breakfast. The sound of the river and the green was worth it. Sure i will come again

We also tried their own wine, which was absolutely delightful and added a special touch to the meal. The owners were exceptionally polite and helpful, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, complete with a woodstove, board games, and all the amenities we needed. The balcony was a favorite spot for us, as it offered beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with excellent hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and stunning nature views, we highly recommend staying here!
