Boasting a prime location within the castle walls, this century-old restored mansion features a tranquil courtyard and charming accommodation with views over the castle. Both Wi-Fi and parking are free. Great location inside the castle walls and close to hundreds of cafes and eating places. Easy walking distance to town and the lake. Staff were exceptional..always cheerful and willing to help. Changed breakfast when they realised we weren't eating the bread and sweet foods and provided fresh fruit, yoghurt salad and eggs instead. Highly recommend Hotel Kastro.

Ideally located by Egnatia's interchange, the Epirus Lux Palace Hotel is a 5-star hotel, unique in its category in the wider region of north-western Greece. It features a huge, 500 m2 pool and offers free Wi-Fi in all areas and free private parking on site. The front desk manager went over and above to find us a ground floor room as we were travelling with our dog. They even added a couple of bowls and a blanket for her! The next day he greeted her by her name, which was so lovely. The dog park at the back of the hotel is a brilliant idea. For humans, we had a large room, very comfortable beds, large marble-clad bathroom with a bath and all the amenities one would want, including a coffee maker and good Wifi. Breakfast was lavish. Definitely on our 'must stay here' list when next in Ioannina.

Located right in the center of town but still quiet and private. Very large and suitable for families. It was very well equipped and it seems like every small detail has been thought of.
