Incredible location overlooking the lake! The room was so comfortable and warm, lots of light and the shower was good and hot. Robert is the most gracious host and went above and beyond for us. He even dropped us to Castle Leslie for a wedding we were attending. Amazing breakfast prepared by a lovely woman, sadly I forgot her name but she was great craic! The woman who came to clean too was really kind and accommodating too.

Maureen is a perfect host, absolutely delightful and kind, she even suggested an activity for us for the morning. We loved our stay even if it was just for one night. Offering a restaurant, Riverbank, Country Pub and Guesthouse is located in the countryside 10 minutes’ drive from Carrickmacross. We love the Riverbank, have been going for a few years and never been disappointed. A nice quiet getaway with great food and lovely staff.

Opposite the Beechill College, The Meadows Bed and Breakfast is just 2 minutes' walk from the Hillgrove Hotel and 8 minutes' walk from Monaghan town centre. Free WiFi access is available. The room is clean, the sightseeing outside is very beautiful especially during sunset and raining, here also provides the most delicious breakfast that I had tried during the whole trip in several countries. And the most important thing is that the landlord is really nice!!! if we go to Monaghan again, we will still book this hotel!

Highly recommend staying here. Easy to locate, good signage, lovely hostess, comfortable beds, and ample parking.
