The bed and breakfast also offers free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. We had an amazing experience at Anchorage 42. The staff were very friendly and took care of every need of ours .The management had thought of every detail for their guest. They also had cookies for our tea in our room. The decore and esthetics of the house were very tastefully done. We had breakfast with the owner who was very humble and kind and shared his story and experiences. The breakfast was amazing prepared by great cooks. The location was great as we walked to Sukhna Lake from anchorage and also the rock garden was close by. Chandigarh is a very organized city and we loved our stay. Wish we had a couple more days .

The house is spacious, clean and very well maintained, with four bedrooms in total (all ensuite), comfortably accommodating families or groups. The fourth bedroom, with its separate access and separate bath/toilet, is ideal if you are travelling with a driver or additional help. The home is fully equipped with everything needed for a short stay. The kitchen has all essential utensils and appliances. Wi-Fi is available and worked well throughout our stay. Laundry facilities were also accessible which was extremely convenient especially with kids. Bedding, blankets, towels and linens were clean and cozy. The host was responsive, courteous and regularly checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly. A cleaning lady was arranged for a mop clean which was appreciated. The things were labelled appropriately like dry waste, wet waste, filter water etc which made it easy to navigate and utilise things.
