The staff were exceptional. They helped carry our suitcases from the bus stop when we arrived and back to the bus stop early in the morning when we left. Hot water was available 24/7. The food was reasonably priced—similar to other restaurants and hotels—and the quality was very good.

A hidden gem in Pelling! This farm stay is the ultimate destination when visiting this region. Surrounded by nature and offering a breathtaking view, we could even see the Kangchenjunga from our bed. The room was spacious and the bathroom was clean. We particularly cherished our dinner and breakfast on the hotel's terrace. However, it's essential to have plenty of patience because communicating with the staff can be challenging, and understanding each other is even more so. The farm stay is located approximately 35 minutes on foot from the nearest town, and the staff wasn't very helpful in arranging transportation, even a taxi (referred to as a tourist vehicle). One important note: Despite what booking.com may indicate about free booking and cancellation, a 10% deposit is required to confirm your reservation.

The Di-Lac Retreat is situated in Gangtok and features a terrace. Among the various facilities are a shared lounge and a restaurant. Both free WiFi and private parking are available on site. Alisa and her small team at Di-Lac made our stay just perfect. Delicious breakfasts and dinners were served with helpful hints and tips for our visit to the area. She kindly organised taxis and excursions for us which we were so grateful for. Thank you so much! The hotel itself is a few kilometres above Gangtok. We stayed in one of the rooms with a balcony which I thoroughly recommend. Waking up to a fantastic view where the clouds kissed the mountains below really shouldn’t be missed. If you want to be surrounded by the hustle and bustle of MG Marg don’t stay here but if you want peace and quiet, fabulous views and the beautiful sound of birdsong, look no further.

Sencha and Yogesh were truly trustworthy drivers too. They have beautiful well thought out outdoor areas too. They also have wonderful pets. Beautiful stay 🥰🙏

We had a beautiful stay at Nabasa Courtyard! Dr OT and Dr Mamta were incredibly warm and kind — they invited us to their Diwali puja, shared dinner with us, and even showed us the Gangtok lights at night. The room was very spacious, spotless, and peaceful. The property is calm, surrounded by greenery, and close to Banjakhri Falls. It truly felt like home.

I had an excellent stay at this homestay in Gangtok. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my visit. The staff were genuinely helpful and easy to communicate with, which made the experience smooth and welcoming. Complimentary snacks and essentials were a thoughtful addition and much appreciated. The food stood out the most - flavorful, fresh, and far better than what most homestays offer. Overall, a stay that exceeded expectations, and I would happily return.
