Tento rodinný penzion se nachází 400 metrů od silnice Route 1 a 15 km od Selfossu. Nabízí bezplatné Wi-Fi a terasu. Na snídani se podává domácí chléb, džem a pečivo. Pokoje útulné a pohodlné. Koupelny byly společné, ale vše velmi čisté. V patře byl společný obývací pokoj s ledničkou, kde si můžete kdykoliv udělat čaj/kávu. Snídaně nejlepší, na které jsme narazili a velmi milý personál. Určitě doporučuju.

Perfect location, very friendly family! We got to feed the horses and watch the goats, sheep and chickens. Got to some great tips for our next stops as well.

Perfect accommodation, couldn't ask for anything more.The room was cosy. The kitchen is more equipped than my own. Beautiful dining area with a big window. Clean and curated bathroom. Also we had to cancel one of the nights we booked and they were kind enough to give us a full refund even if it was just one day before. I think that if every guest used the kitchen then it might get crowded, but on the night we were there it was just another couple of people, so it was perfect.

Very close to all the attractions of the region. Only 4 kms to geysers and 10 minutes to Gullfoss. Great place to view aurora, even we couldn't see it due to cloudy. Very clean and comfortable. Lovely design.

Backyard Village se nachází v destinaci Hverageroi a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi, zahradu s terasou, výhled do zahrady a volný vstup do sauny a vířivky. We loved everything about this cabin. We were in the Turquoise cabin. The location was the perfect base for exploring the Golden Circle and the neighbouring Selfoss. It was also convenient to Keflavik Airport as well as Reykjavik. In the town, there are restaurants, cafes, bars, grocery shops and petrol stations if you just want to hang about the village. We walked to the brewery our first night - everything’s within a 10-15 minute walk. There’s also some hiking and thermal springs close by (we didn’t get to dip in the springs because we ran out of daylight). On to the property - it was like being home and living near a friendly neighbour. It felt very private and the cabin was very warm in freezing temperatures. (once we identified the one window that was left on breathe!) There was everything we needed for cooking/eating and the coffee machine was a bonus. There’s no cable TV, but that was perfectly fine - we just cosied up to some Netflix movies at the end of the day (when we weren’t in the sauna or hot tub). The bathroom was spacious and clean and soap, etc. was available, which was unexpected and handy. The bedroom was comfortable for the both of us. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we sleep like babies the entire stay. Our favourite parts of our stay were the sauna and hot tub. We enjoyed a couple of sauna sessions during our stay and spent a few nights in the hot tub. On our last night, we were slightly bummed that we didn’t see the northern lights and around the time we were thinking to get out, they appeared and put on the most beautiful show. We didn’t have our cameras, but it’s a memory that will live with us for a long time. Last, but not least, the hosts were incredible and friendly and available when we needed them. They were also very communicative before and during our stay. We’ve been considering a second trip when the weather improves, and if we’re down that way, we Weill certainly stay in the Backyard Village again.
