A perfect place to stay for our first night in sri lanka The newly built hotel was beautiful with each bedroom overlooking the palm fringed beach and the ocean. We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

The staff is kind and friendly. 2 minutes away from the beach, but if you don't mind walking there are so many different locations to swim and enjoy the sun if you are not into kite surfing. Breakfast is great! I totally recommend it!

Prior to arrival he assured us that they could cater for one of our party who is vegan and also arranged a full-day safari for us. We had a large family room which was immaculate with great facilities. Each night, Roshan's wife cooks an incredible buffet for the guests, all freshly prepared with a huge choice. The food was amazing and Roshan and his family made our stay memorable.

Very helpful and organised our Safari at Wilpattu National Park which is only a few minutes drive away and our transfer back to Negombo the next day. We had a beautiful, lunch, dinner and breakfast prepared for us which was some of the best food we ate during our entire trip. The room was clean, attractive and comfortable.

The food and service at The Backwater's Lodge was exceptional and even though we missed our flight connection they rearranged everything without any issue. SurfPoint Sri Lanka is a really cool spot to spend time, to base from for kiting and/or to take lessons. I did lessons and the quality of the instruction was outstanding. The hotel is comfortable and has a really nice common area where people hang out, eat, and talk story about the day’s adventures and have a laugh. Nevertheless, the hotel is nice and quiet for sleeping. The value is excellent, the food is good and competitively priced, and the staff are wonderful. I highly recommend SurfPoint Sri Lanka, and I plan to return.
