The hostel can also help you to arrange for the city walking tour guide. The walking tour guide is good, he will bring you to the local shop ( rug, textile, cosmetic) no pressure to buy, but if you do buy just know the shop actually charge way overprice.

Furthermore, one of the most wonderful experiences was the cooking class we took with Chef Omar! Very recommended! He did not only show us the art of cooking with a Tajine but went to the market with us, sharing his insightful knowledge about Morocco and the Amazigh culture. Dar Bensouda’s rooms combine the traditional architecture of the original palace with modern comforts. The rooms and suites are arranged around the fountain courtyard. They are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom. The suites have a bathtub and sitting room. Moroccan-owned, historical and professionally restored riad with super nice rooms (the duplex room in particular was amazing). Restaurant has a good dinner and breakfast (honestly, both much better than some of the highly rated places of Google Maps / internet). Generally the whole historically preserved luxury yet cool vibe was nice. Also, they were super helpful with arranging transport and day trips at short notice and good price. Best hotel we have tried in Morocco so far!
