The property is 9 km from Todra Gorge. Best place we've been in all our 5 day trip in Morocco. By far. From the location, which even allows a short hike around the Riad, to the staff, helpful, professional and nice, to the food, facilities... The place is far better than in the pictures. Only negative is staying for no more than one night!

Located high in the Atlas Mountains, Auberge Le Festival Todra Gorge is an eco-friendly hotel with a hot tub, children’s swimming pool and an organic garden. It was built with natural materials and is a 15-minute drive from Tinghir. This is THE BEST place in the area. The staff is amazingly friendly and the room was fantastic. They arranged in a minute for the best hike we’ve ever had. Thanks!!

An exceptionally special stay in this historic village. 8 rooms, each unique, each with a view and/or a terrace. Staff very accommodating- it was a very cold spell and they made sure we had heat in our room. Each common room of the hotel was a masterpiece, the cave-like ‘family room’ to the dining area and terraces. Breakfast was also exceptional taste of the region and plentiful. Because it is a UNESCO site there is very limited power. Charging is done in a central area by reception. All lights are out at night to conserve. Knowing this ahead allows you to plan accordingly. Parking for 20 dirhams in someone’s gated yard worked well. Hotel has this dialed in and it’s a good way just be sure you are paying the property owner and not someone on the street acting like it’s theirs. Sunset from the top, sunrise from the eastern knob, or from the hotel terrace.
