Mr Salim and his brother Yasir specifically are gentlemen who will always smile ☺️. The people who operate & execute this experience are actually bedouins. Truly wonderful people!!! Special mention to the amazing food that was served. Homely cooked meals met with amazing level of hospitality. I had the best Mishkak here at Moon Light Luxury Camp.

Speaking both Arabic and English, staff at the reception can help you plan your stay. The tents are very authentic, the beds are big and comfortable. The place has a beautiful setting in the desert. We were welcomed by dates, coffee, fruits. We ordered a dinner, which was really delicious and rich. Also, the breakfast was a traditional arab pancake, absolutely tasty. You need a 4 WD car to get to the camp, but the host can pick you up at a designated location.

A recently renovated campground located in Bidiyah, Milky Way Domes features barbecue facilities. The property was built in 2023 and features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a ski equipment rental service is also available. Excellent location in the dunes- away from other camps and no light pollution. The traditional meals were a culinary delight, providing an authentic taste of Omani cuisine. Camel riding was a unique experience, and meeting a baby camel was a charming highlight. Our guide, Saeed, was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, ensuring our experience was both educational and enjoyable. The camp’s commitment to providing an authentic Bedouin experience, from the traditional accommodations to the cultural activities, made our stay truly special.

The camp was nicely located in the dunes, there were some other camps nearby, but not close enough to notice them without walking some distance. The facilities were amazing, tents were simple, yet well equipped and the little private bathrooms (including showers) were just perfect. Sunset camel ride was brilliant and definitely worth doing. Both the dinner and breakfast were well prepared with a large variety of food, we were very impressed by the quality and quantity of the dinner and breakfasts.
