In order to have this remote and calm location, you should be aware of the steep and bumpy road to get there. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed, making this the most memorable accommodation of our trip. Bret's kindness and engaging conversations added a personal touch to our experience. He went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and shared fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, which turned out to be some of the best dining experiences we’ve had. Noah, Bret’s friendly dog, was a highlight of our stay. Whether it was playtime or cuddles, Noah’s cheerful presence brought so much joy and comfort. It felt like staying with family rather than at a typical lodging. The combination of thoughtful hospitality, meaningful interactions, and a welcoming atmosphere made this stay exceptional. We left with fond memories and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Panama. Thank you, Bret and Noah, for making our trip so special!

Beautiful quiet spot surrounded by mountains. The pool was wonderful too, with natural hot sping water in it. There is a beautiful terrace outside to enjoy. We had a nice welcome from Alex and he was available to answer our questions and advice us. Alex has special skills to release knocks on your back so do not hesitate to take a treatment with him. This is something unique in the world.

During our 5-day stay, they offered to clean the room and change towels. Amazing and beautifully presented breakfast right by the ocean. Perfect location—just 10 seconds from the ocean and the beach! You can tell everything is made with love, and the owners truly care. A fridge with reasonably priced drinks (cola, beer) and snacks. Hosts provide boogie boards, sunscreen, and other beach essentials—everything you need! Cons: While the house is on the beach, it’s far from infrastructure. The nearest store is a 20-minute walk, but it only sells chips and chocolate. If you need real food (meat, cheese), you’ll need to take a taxi ($10 round trip) or a taxi + highway bus. So this place is for pure beach relaxation. Scorpions and ants sometimes got into our room, but since it's in the middle of nature, it’s understandable. The hosts provided insect repellent. Would definitely recommend for those looking for a secluded beach getaway!

The host Debra was very helpful and communicated all the information in advance and also gave very good guidance and suggestions on activities in El Valle. It was very easy for us to communicate with her since she speaks English. She responded to questions immediately. The house was as described in the pictures and was very clean and comfortable. We had an excellent stay at El Valle and would definitely recommend to anyone.
