As we had done our homework about the location this hotel was everything we expected and didn't disappoint. As it has only been open a few months the room was very clean and fresh and of ample size. There was a nice choice of breakfasts and dinner items and a well stocked bar. We loved listening to the waves and wildlife noises and not much else to disturb the tranquility of being in the forest/beach location. Also very close was a good beach bar for a change of food and scenery.

We particularly loved the salt water pool, and the sauna/cold plunge combo. The breakfast and food in general was amazing (there are not tons of options on the menu but each meal we ordered was very well executed). We will definitely be back again!

No aircon but surprisingly didn’t need it in February. This is a long way from shops or restaurants but luckily the meals here are excellent and even though there is no menu the food is delicious at every meal and varied. We were there for 7 nights but always something different. The boat ride to go anywhere is from $10 per person or $15 to redfrog beach but then you have to pay $5 entrance fee. The terrace on the water invites to relax and cuddle the cute dogs and cats living at BarrBra. The atmosphere is calming and our room was simply stunning with a huge private balcony where we would relax in hammocks and listen to the sea.
