Located in Koh Tao, Mae Ya Resort features 4-star accommodation with private balconies. The property is situated 1.7 km from Aow Leuk Beach, 8.5 km from Ao Muong and 3 km from Shark Island. The resort provides an outdoor swimming pool and room service and free WiFi. We had a great stay at Mae Ya Resort and even ended with extending and extending our stay until it was not possible anymore as the resort was unfortunately fully booked. The pool was lovely with a beautiful view, its big enough for 2 people. The whole resort is very new and good maintained. Our villa was spacious and very clean with daily housekeeping. The shower had a good pressure and hot water. You will not find many other private pool villas for this price anywhere in Thailand. The staff was also very kind and helpful. You will need a motorbike as its about 10 minutes outside of the center. A good 125 ccm bike is powerful enough to get up the steep street. One day we will definitely come back here and we do recommend this resort 100%!

It's a beautiful hostel with lovely common areas and nice private rooms. We only stayed for two nights, but I'd definitely stay longer here. Love it!

Nice breakfast too. I would 100% recommend this place even though I am quite critical and usually do not stay in dorms.

Got it recommended by some people, would maybe not have found it otherwise. The kindest staff at a hostel ever, and the facilities are really great. Definitely made some of my favorite memories of my trip in this hostel. Couldn’t recommend it more!

The property is located 7.3 km from Ao Muong, 400 metres from Chalok Viewpoint and 2.4 km from Shark Island. The accommodation provides evening entertainment and a shared kitchen. It is a small hostel with only 20-25 beds, making it very personal to get to know each other. Every night there is an activity (optional of course), otherwise anyone can also chill in the common area - with pool, a foosballtable, a TV and a lot of sitting areas (couches, beanbags, etc). The beds are very comfortable, with airco running almost all the time in the rooms. The showers are large and you can loan a towel for a deposit only. The staff is extremely nice, fun and helpful with anything at any time! If I come back to Ko Tao, I will book at Wonderland again!
