This place was incredible. the staff, the owner, the attention to your needs, and all of the help with booking your activities in the park. It was seamless. we had such a good stay! Lovely stay in Wild Trails Yala by Suri! The hotel is located extremely close to Yala National Park down a dust covered bumpy road! You really feel like you are in the middle of the jungle! The tent accommodation is beautifully designed and feels like luxury! Goshie, the hotel manager, could not have been more helpful! He was so attentive and we learned so much from him about Sri Lanka in general but also about Yala National Park. Goshie organised everything for us from onwards transportation to both an evening and morning safaris. Pathum, our driver, was fantastic, he was so knowledgeable about the animals in Yala and tried his best to ensure we got to experience the best of Yala National Park! We were lucky enough to spot a leopard on both drives thank you Pathum!

Everything was excellent, we were staying in the tree house and it was beautiful, highly recommended! We also booked the Yala Safari with them and it was really nice, we saw lots of animals and the guide was really kind and friendly. Overall, it was a fab experience :)

We stayed here in February, the resort is very new, they opened in December. The tents are very comfortable with air conditioning, a good bed, and other facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The camp is beautifully located just outside the Yala national park. Tents were cosy and safe. The staff was welcoming and so kind to us. Food was delicious, a lot of coconut was used. Guided safari and the bushwalk were the highlight of our stay. We learnt a lot about animals and saw some rare night birds as well. Thank you Makini for all the amazing memories. Wish you the best!
