Everything was just perfect!! Said is such a friendly host, we loved to talk with him on the terrace in the desert. He also took us to his camels and let us pet and hug them. Unforgettable!! :) Breakfast and dinner were delicious! Thank you sooo much for that experience :) !!

Sand Delight Camp is located in the desert of Waheba Sands in Oman. It is surrounded by sand dunes. Free tea and coffee is provided throughout the day.

Ome of the best stay in Oman, The simple tent without airconditioning was nice and not too hot (at least at night) even in mid may. The staff was extremely friendly and kind and a pleasure to talk to. Location is magic the sunset on the top of the dune close by is spectacular and the stars at night are so many … Really good dinner and breakfast I would be back anytime!

The camp and the rooms are really comfy. Food is delicious. We enjoyed the sunset on the dunes with an Omani coffee and it was a perfect moment. Little drive on top of the dunes is also a very very good memory. Saeed and the team will make you feel home.

Sama Al Sharqiyah Camp is situated in Al Wāşil. Outdoor seating is also available at the luxury tent. There is a seating area, a dining area and a kitchen equipped with kitchenware.

We had some troubles to reach the camp with our 2wd car. Thanks to Hamid we finally reached the camp. Although there was no other people, but us we spent an emerging evening with delicious dinner. We had fruits and coffee, we did some stars gazing, we enjoyed the fire. Hamid did for us delicious bread on the fire. Evening was great. Thanks a lot.

Golden dune Bedouin camp is set in Al Wāşil and has a private pool and mountain views. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking.

Most authentic camp, most authentic experience and nicest people on earth. They do everything, always making sure you are okay. They Even saved us by dropping us in Muscat because we had no car. The night was great, the tents are very comfortable and its away from the cluster where you have all the other camps so you really feel alone in the desert . Thank you so much

The location was perfect as we couldn’t see anything in a distance. Despite being a tent, the facilities were like and just like a hotel room with a bed, coffee machine, bathroom and shower. Outside there was a swing and several places to lounge or have meals. The owner took us dune bashing which was so much fun !

Black Sand Camp is offering accommodation in Al Mintirib. This luxury tent provides free private parking and full-day security. In good weather, guests are welcome to sit outside.

I stayed at this wonderful place as part of a family trip to Oman last month, and it easily was the highlight of the tour! The camp itself is gorgeously located on top of a dune; your views don’t get any better than that (and both sunset and sunrise are worth watching!). In terms of setup, it had everything you needed, from comfortable beds to clean bathrooms and a welcoming communal dining area. I’m also a vegetarian and found that the food was very accessible and easy to navigate. What made my stay here so special, though, was the team behind this camp. We spent two nights here so we got to know Said and his team a little better, and they’re all as welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and funny as can be. I really recommend doing the 6-hour tour around the dunes, Said took us to see the dunes, an oasis farm, the local Bedouin family, and made us a beautiful lunch picnic under a tree patch as we watched the camels pass. You can really tell they love this project, so it’s no surprise that guests quickly feel the same way. I’d come back here in a heartbeat, and to anyone reading these reviews because they’re in between two camps: this is your sign to stay at Al Sarmadi - you won’t regret it.
