Very nice room with great ocean view and design. Very comfortable sun beds with great service at the beach. Generally, very friendly staff, helpful and attentive. We did twice a boat trip (sunset and another half day boat trip) which was very nice for snorkeling. The guys from the boat were cordial, but the other staff from the hotel was much more friendly.

Nicely landscaped grounds, hammocks, nice deep pool! Plenty of cabana areas to lounge around with a book. Delicious simple breakfast- and very accommodating with special dietary requests Super helpful with tour/local info. Quiet hours were respected by guests. Air con and ceiling fan noise actually covered up the call to prayer loudspeaker “noise” so I had no trouble sleeping Hearing the call to prayer while lounging by pool at sunset was very atmospheric Very hospitable hosts Great water pressure in shower

The host July is an absolute star! She is super friendly, cooked delicious Indonesian food, introduced us to her family, gave us good recommendations about Senaru, brought us fresh fruits from the garden and invited us to go and see the sunset with her! The room is basic, comfortable bed, HOT shower (much needed after Rinjani), towels, and nice terrace.

Love the location right on the beach. Tables and chairs and sun beds under the trees, best way to spend some time on the island. Food was good too and reasonably priced too. The cottages are lovely. Very nicely styled in white and neutrals. Outside bathroom enclosed with mosquito net which is a great idea. The staff were all super friendly and extremely helpful. We asked for a couple of things for the room and they went out of their way to accommodate us. This will be our place to stay from now on.

Island View Bar and Bungalow was our favourite stay during our trip. Beautiful sunset spot, best on Gili Air. Food was great and service with a smile. Had some great yarns with Eddie at the bar. Room was super clean and well maintained. Loved lazing about in the hammock reading my book on the peaceful side of Gili Air. Still a 5 minute walk away from shops and bars and coffee. Everything on the island is a short walk away, or a bike ride.

Our host was so friendly! She gave us a welcome smoothie on arrival which was greatly appreciated in the heat. The AC was very good and the batteries quickly swapped in the remote when it died. Laundry was done for a very good price and could refill water bottles for next to nothing. Fridge to keep drinks cold. Location - only 15 mins walk to sunset beach and the best snorkelling in the Gillis is literally at the end of the entrance to Tangga! Having a terrace with a hammock and a light made chilling out very enjoyable.

Breakfast was at a table in the shade on the beach, beautifully fresh papaya and watermelon followed by a choice of Mee goreng, nasi goreng, pancakes or eggs. Such a gorgeous spot, equally perfect for sunset cocktails. The pool was great and the rooms very nice. We were in the new bungalows and they were very comfortable and spacious with a big verandah with a place to lounge under a fan. It is small and family run and we loved it.

This was my favourite place to stay during my trip. Everything was to a very high standard. The most comfy bed, lovely bedding, towels changed regularly, great veranda space with hammock and sofa to relax. On arrival you are given lots of information about the island including a map with recommendations of places to eat, spots to swim and see the sunset. The team and Michael are very welcoming.
