Our family, including a 3 and 8-year-old, just returned from a magical trip with M'Hamid Sahara Camp! Arriving in M'Hamid, we were delighted to find a vibrant cultural festival in full swing. Cheikh Larbi's team went above and beyond, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable exploring the festivities. We then embarked on an incredible 3-night dromedary safari. Our guide was fantastic - knowledgeable, attentive, and wonderful with the kids. He led us through breathtaking landscapes, we even saw gazelles! The kids loved the gentle dromedaries. Sleeping under the stars was a highlight. With zero light pollution, the sky was an endless tapestry of stars - truly awe-inspiring! Cheikh Larbi, who grew up in the desert, shared his vast knowledge and passion with us. We learned so much about the ecosystem, the stars, and Berber culture. The camp itself was an oasis of comfort and tranquility, with delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. As a father, I felt confident in the safety and security of the environment. Majorelle Desert Camp býður upp á gistirými í Zagora. Gististaðurinn státar af sólarhringsmóttöku og arni utandyra. It was a great experience to spend the night in the desert. We saw camels in the morning, breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly. We can only recommend it.

We really liked the food, the tranquillity, the atmosphere, the entertainment, and the cat.

Located close to the Erg Lihoudi dunes. Not big dunes, but you can experience the sand colors during sunset and sunrise. The road to the camp is accessible to any type of car. The communication with the host was perfect, and I was waited in the nearby village to be guided to the camp. Comfortably sleeping in the tent. Clean toilet, hot water, shower. Good meals, but the dinner is overpriced. If you need wifi, the hosts provide hotspot access on their phones. Otherwise, note that Internet over Orange is not reliable. The hosts are very attentive and caring, persistently asking if everything is ok.

Nomads Heaven Camp í Mhamid er með garð og verönd. Á staðnum er svæði þar sem hægt er að fara í lautarferð og gestir geta nýtt sér ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. We enjoyed our stay at Nomads Heaven Camp very much. Moloud is a very experienced host and guide, very proficient in different languages. Very friendly! Food was good and typical moroccon dishes for breakfast and dinner. Everything was reasonably priced. It was very quiet, approximately 6 km from Mhamid. You live in tent-like clay buildings. It was rather warm inside during the night. So we did not need warmer clothes inside. You can walk 200-300 m and you enter an area with smaller dunes with super fine sand. We just sat there and enjoyed a sunset and sunrise there. So it is "desert experience light". Be aware that the real desert with the big 100m high dunes is 60 km/ 2h away. Moloud could have organized a tour by 4x4 and/or camel. But that would have taken us more time, also one person had health issues. So ideally you spend 2-3 days. And stay in the "real" desert overnight.

We had a great time in this beautiful and peaceful environment in the dunes. So many stars! great rooms and delicious food! the staff is super friendly and helpful! they can organize everything for you from pick up from the airport to short or long excursions to live and explore the amazing desert by dromedars or 4X4. 100% recomendable!

The camp is located perfectly fine in some dunes with stunning views. We were lucky enough to be the only guests for the night so we had the campsite to ourselves. The dinner was absolutely fine and we were offered to have a campfire if we'd wanted. What we enjoyed most was the quietness and the stars during the night. No dune-bashers or cars (thank god!). The host is as friendly as you can imagine and organized a camel ride back to the parking area for the following day with a local guy which we also enjoyed a lot. Also communication was easy and pick could be organized smoothly. Definitely 10/10.

Chegaga Regency Camp er staðsett í El Gouera og býður upp á gistirými með setusvæði. Gististaðurinn er með aðgang að svölum og ókeypis einkabílastæði. 10/10 doesn’t describe how amazing this stay was! A true desert immersion. We had a transfer from Mahamid. Our driver and also our guide spoke great English and provided an amazing experience, showing us the Nomad villages on the way. The food (we had lunch, dinner and breakfast) was one of the best we had during our 10 days in Morocco. The camp definitely exceeded our expectations, was right next to the big dunes, was super comfortable and clean, with our tent having a private bathroom with a shower and hot water. We took a camel ride to the big sand dunes and sand boarded down them. Cannot recommend enough! An absolute must when you’re in Morocco!
