Everything, including the location of the chalet and views. For the first in Europe, stay in the chalet felt like home from home. Overall experience was much better than I expected. We have enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the trains after we returned in the evening. Rebecca was the perfect host, and she has provided everything we need during our stay. The unobstructed view was breathtaking and matched the images shared by the host. The living room was very cozy and served as the perfect common space for a family. The location was a 1-minute walk to the Lauterbrunnen Station and Coop supermarket. The kitchen was very modern and had all the appliances you needed. There was a very good restaurant right across the street. The bathroom is not entirely "private" as it is shared between two bedrooms (so you will have to lock two doors when using the amenity). There are two showers and one toilet in this bathroom, which is great. There is a spare toilet located on the second floor in the living room. As a big family, I am fine giving my two children each a shower in the same bathroom. It would just be ideal for the group travellers to have a better glimpse of the layout of this property.

everything was great. the facilities (showers lockers beds kitchen bathroom etc..) were all always clean and are sturdy and well made. never did i feel the hostel was taking shortcuts to cut cost. kitchen had ample utensils. alot of space to eat. there were so much free services just for guest comfort (even other than the ones mentionned here like free tennis and pool access and free shoes that u can use and return free day lockers and more). Nothing can do the staff and views from the hotel justice.

Amazing view, confortable and cosy. Everything is new, good quality furnishing. The kitchen is equipped with everything, it even had some cooking oil and salt/pepper, which is nice, when you cannot carry any kitchen stuff with you. The environment is quiet and relaxing.

No doubt that this chalet was one of the highlights of our 2 week trip to Europe. We stayed 6 nights but wanted to stay 6 months. Clean and very well laid out apartment. Very comfortable beds, great kitchen and 1 1/2 baths with a great shower. But, the most amazing thing is the VIEW. Waking up to the Alps and cool air. Breathtaking. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Also, the location is super convenient...right near the train station.
