Breakfast was sufficient and tasty; however, they should ask how you like your eggs and not just automatically bring them scrambled---both my husband and I prefer them fried. The coffee was good and you can have refills. Service is efficient but it would be helpful if breakfast would start at 7:30 instead of 8 ( for those who have business meetings or wish to start hiking earlier.)

Amazing location high up in mountains (2700 m above sea level), beautiful site in real good condition and great staff. Hummingbird garden was full of these birds, tens buzzing around. Knowledgable guides found quetzal birds easily.

    This was our last stop of a 3-week round trip and a great stop it was. Temperatures are cool at night, chalets are cosy and the showers are warm in the morning (not a given in Costa Rica). The restaurant is exceptional combined with great wines. Great value for money! Including the restaurant.

    Esteban and his family are the best Hosts ever, we felt very welcome in a wonderful place in the middle of the Rain Forest. Delicious food, a humming bird paradise, a very nice cabin with a heater. Amazing place. We enjoyed every second. Thank you!!

    Beautiful chales made of wood and placed in pure nature. The food on the restaurant is super good and worth it’s money. The 3 km track going directly from the chalets is wonderful and passing in the primary forest full of life. We loved the place!

    Cute little cabin in a tranquil location. They have their own 3km trail up through the forest and back down through the coffee and avocado plantations. The restaurant was unexpectedly excellent for such a quiet valley.

    One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed at. The cabin was very nice, food was exceptional and the staff helpful and nice. We had two very young kids (1 and 4) and we could take them with us on the 3km hike around the forest and plantations - we enjoyed that a lot! We really like the sustainable emphasis the lodge has and eating local product.
