This is in the most stunning location and all the lodges are surrounded by beautiful trees and plants. The path entering onto the beach is magical. We came by bus and enjoyed using the bikes to explore the area. (Bring your own bike lights!) We had the suite and loved the cosy kitchen as a place to be in the evening. Kitchen was very well equipped, it even had a teapot which we really appreciated! For the carless - local restaurant 'Selvin' is a few minutes walk away and is really good, but it is only open Thursday-Sunday. Other places you need to walk at least 1/2 hour or bike or TukTuk. Very lovely and helpful Nicole, the onsite manager, as well as the smiling gardener who brought us coconut water, grapefruits and bananas. Will carry on dreaming about this place and hope to return!

This hotel is just perfect. I really like the design of bungalows with open bathroom and toilet behind the door. We were looking for something in the middle of the jungle to feel the nature and this is what we needed. There are no glass in the windows so you can hear all animals all the time but everywhere is the mesh so no insects inside. We didn’t have any mosquitoes during the night which is cool. Humidity in Costa Rica is high and it’s hard to dry clothes or towels but they change your towels every day. There are not many rooms/bungalows so it’s very intimate hotel. Breakfasts are very tasty and the owner is super nice, communicative and helpful!

Miguel and Marta were lovely hosts. Friendly & very helpful. The whole property is absolutely gorgeous and well taken care of. House was very clean, and the whole property had a safe, family friendly atmosphere, and their dog is so so sweet. We fell asleep to the sounds of nature, completely surrounded by jungle noises. Would absolutely recommend. Good value for the price. Location is a bit of a walk from town, but our hosts gave us bikes to use free of charge! Amazing

Staff were so friendly and helpful, bungalow was so unique, clean and well kept. Obviously it was a bit noisy because it’s in the jungle, but to be expected, and such a unique experience. Food was really good, would definitely recommend.

The lodge is beautifully located in a large, dense forest. Each house has in the front a porch with a sofa and hammock, a large living/sleeping area inside, and an enormously big bathroom with a shower. As the houses are open with no windows but anti-insect nets, so you live and sleep immersed in the jungle outside. The experience is outstanding! You can hear birds signing in the morning and howlers howling in the night ;) There are multiple paths you can walk around the property and spot different animals and birds. The beach can be easily accessed through the gate and across the street in 5 min. walk. Breakfast is served in the restaurant in the open air space and is a costarican variation of continental breakfast. It is tasty and plentiful. The staff is very helpful, proffesional and engaged, both at the front desk as in the restaurant.
