Guesthouse EYA was one of our most unique and memorable experiences in Costa Rica. The property is located in a rural community accessible by a gravel road (4x4 highly recommended). Juri and Estevan run a small sustainable farm and offer a cabin with a comfortable bed, private bathroom and terrace. They also offer a variety of tours in the area and on the farm itself. We booked the chocolate tour, which was fascinating and very engaging. Estevan is very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna and is also a great wine/chocolate maker. We also enjoyed fantastic breakfasts, lunches and dinners. We would highly recomm end Eya if your looking for a comfortable bed in the Garden of Eden off the beaten track. Thank you Estavan and Yuri for a wonderful experience!

Great location! I'd stopped here previously to eat, but hadn't realised there was accommodation. The cabins are great: really cozy wooden interiors, well equipped with coffee maker, nice shower and outdoor chairs. We had a fantastic view out over the valley. The cabins are down the hill a bit so you don't heard the highway at all. There's a nice network of trails down by the cabins which proved excellent for birding. And of course, the hummingbird feeders are amazing.

This place is definitely amazing!! So clean, they care about every little detail! Service was good too! Nauyaca waterfall are 1 minute away in car! And breakfast was delicious.

Perfect tiny house perched at +2000m high in the mountains with an unbeatable view on the valley below all the way to the Pacific Ocean. Hard to beat if you want some quiet, or hike in the mountains. Staying in wooden house surrounded by jungle, nature, animals sounds, flying birds and all the green around was amazing! View from the balcony is spectacular, we relaxed and had a great time, even saw a Tuckan very very close :) kitchen is well equipped, we didn’t lack anything and felt very comfortable. Swimming pool was clean and kids had a lot of fun there :) 10/10, worth recomanding! As an advantage I can add closeness of Nauyaca Waterfalls, if anyone is planning a visit, the bungalow is a perfect location.

The aesthetic design is outstanding. The food was incredibly healthy and locally sourced. Our breakfasts were well planned and extremely generous. The Rio Spa professionals are experienced, with meticulous attention to wellness and healing. The yoga studio is impressive. The grounds were full of wildlife delights and we only left grounds to visit the nearby butterfly dome and a great lunch at Batsu Restaurant. I recommend staying at least three nights because of how wonderful your stay is. Children will be welcomed and safe in the secure oasis. The staff had a great idea of before and after photos (even if it's just a private lookbook) of guests when they arrive compared to when they leave. I definitely transformed over our two night stay.
