Really quirky, individual, eco property, crafted largely from wood, as the name suggests. Charming! The provision was excellent, down to a lovely full-bean coffee machine (beans provided generously, just leave a contribution in the tin next to the machine). The small terrace was peaceful and gorgeous to just take in the sounds of rural life - the nearby church tower, birds, and sounds of busy agricultural activity. Really lovely place. Next door is a vibrant and friendly pizza restaurant too - highly recommend a visit there if you're staying.

It‘s a beautiful place to stay with a lot of natural gems to offer nearby. The appartment was very clean and really worth the money. The christmas market next to the house was also very charming and inviting. I will definitely go there again

Incredible. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Incredible staff! Everything in the room is such unbelievable quality. The sauna complex in the basement of the lodges is unreal good. We will be back!!!!

Amazing place to stay when you visit the Black Forest. Beatrice and John are lovely, the chalet is located in a great place and very well equipped. The place is spotless clean and is a great base for your trip. Very very recommended!!!
