A very cozy lodge and beautiful surroundings. We spent three nights here after a long trip home from overseas. The lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was so comfortable. And we had everything we needed to cater for ourselves day and night. Communication with the host was seamless and they were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We felt really looked after. Would highly recommend the gate Lodge. We didn’t get out to see much of the surrounding areas, but it was in a beautiful village with amenities close by. Would definitely stay again, thanks to Keith and Carrie for having us.

We loved everything. The apartment is immaculate, lovely decor, comfortable bed, great bathroom, everything we needed and a very helpful host. Would highly recommend. Even more beautiful than the photos show and very spacious.

Simply beautiful. My partner and I struggle to find opportunities to spend quality time together due to conflicting work schedules, we're very much ships passing in the night! This weekend away allowed us to spend the time we desperately needed together. It's a stunning property in a peaceful location. Check in and out was completely stressfree and the facilities available meant that we could be completely independent and enjoy the cabin as a 'home from home'. I really cannot recommend this place enough. It's calming and balances luxury with a homely feel, perfectly. Every aspect of the design feels as though it has been carefully picked out to create the most relaxing atmosphere. Thank you a million times!

A perfect break ,very comfortable clean accommodation, Bramble lodge is so well equipped! It even has an airfryer. The hot tub is superb. Great walks from the door . Our dog loved it . There was a little bag of goodies when we arrived, which contained Richards sloe gin, which is delicious . It's in a great location with everything close by . Having EV charging is a bonus . We have already booked to come back again as we instantly felt at home. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to come for a winter break.

My family and I stayed there in advance of my wedding nearby and our stay at The Lodge was quite simply the best short-term cottage rental/airbnb-style rental I have ever used. The cleanliness of this house was outstanding - quite simply the most clean and tidy rental I have ever stayed at. We had the use of a full kitchen, with lots of useful tools (I needed to assemble wedding cakes); the rest of the house was warm and welcoming, perfectly furnished, especially the bedrooms, which were wonderful. The owners were very helpful and I would without doubt stay here again.

Very peaceful and relaxing. Close enough to go out for trips but lovely enough to just stay there. View was amazing and had everything we needed. Having a massage at the pamper salon onsite was a lovely bonus.
