Warm welcome. Some very nice touches left in the property. Like Tea and milk. Shower bits, sweets, and some soft drinks . Property very warm, even with the wind howling outside.

An amazing place built 1340, so it felt a privilege to stay in this wonderful lodge with all the history, and amazing facilities. The best well equipped kitchen I’ve ever stayed in. We loved our stay so much and it felt like we were stepping back in time, but with modern features that were beautifully hidden. Beautiful position by the gorgeous Abby and Father Phil is so lovely and funny. We definitely will book again.

Room and property was very clean. Everything in the room was freshly washed. Complimentary coffee and tea was available in the room with kettle. Also all the facilities available in the kitchen. Cleaning was top-notch. Parking was available with driveway.

Breakfast was self-serve cereal and coffee because that's what I told them I wanted. The couple who run it are very helpful and went out of their way to get me to my destination the next day when the buses weren't running. The hot tub was especially wonderful.
