absolutely stunning location, looks like from Avatar movie. Experience of high quality glampimg in the jungle - stunning. Private, in nature...beautiful. So serene. For dinner you get to taste local produce, especially tea chuttney which we loved. Bath robes in the room and outdoor shower make your stay a spa experience.

Incredible property, rooms lovely, very comfortable and clean. Beautiful views throughout. The food was excellent and dinner menu changed daily. What made this stay so memorable were the staff - very warm, welcoming, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble.

Had an exceptional stay here. The hosts are some of the kindest people I‘ve met on the island. Nice outdoor kitchen with all necessary utensils. Bathroom was clean and spacious.

The place is stunning, close from birds and deers and far from busy highways. If you don't want to stay in huge resorts, this place is perfect. It is very well furnished and the atmosphere is great. The host is very kind and will do everything to make your stay really enjoyable.

Imagine waking up early in the morning, grabbing a coffee, be greeted by two lovely dogs coming to say hi, the sound of birds and the distant noise of the waves. You walk for 3 minutes and you arrive on a beautiful beach, most of the time almost empty,. You can use the kayak, the surf board, bodyboard available at the house, whenever you want to go and see the dolphins even if they often come to the shore. Sanjana and Julien are adorable, so are their 2 kids. We got some fresh eggs coming from their adventurous chicken, they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. There is a barbecue that we used by the beach…We had an incredible stay and we cannot wait to come again ! Tamarin bay is so much better than Flic en Flac and you have great food options nearby when you spend your day at the beach. The house is located in a secured and quiet place, it’s a fantastic option to discover Mauritius by offering a peaceful space to rest.

The accommodation was ideal for a couple. The position was ldylic for us, as was close to the beach and the river. The use of a car as it not close to shops or restaurants was a bonus

Excellent villa with private pool, beach access and located in not so crowded area. Great service and attention from the staff. One day wi-fi was not working due to some technical failure and Davina personally spent time to make sure that technician fixed the issues. We went for fishing and caught some fish. Sapna did the cooking and curry was outstanding. Overall very clean, nice and well equipped property. Pool was a really nice bonus. Recommended for a romantic holiday.

Very peaceful and secure location as it is situated in a quiet, picturesque gated are called "Bout Du Monde". As such you need a car to get around the local area and to go shopping. The chalet itself is wooden and lovely. If you need peace and quiet, to swim occasionally in the pool and to watch the night sky, this is the ideal location. Ideal for a family of 4. The kitchen area is small but very usable. A fridge-freezer, a 4 hob cooker, sink and all the cooking accessories. The bathroom consists of an electric shower, basin and toilet. No issues using either. The main bed is a similar to a UK king sized bed and was comfortable, at least for me. There were spare towels and sheets in the wardrobe, Decent sized bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is designed for children, with 2 single beds and a tiny childrens' desk. Access to the wardrobe is an issue as the bed blocks it a bit, but its of no real issue. The main area consists of 6 seater dining table and a sofa, with a large TV. Wifi access was good and stable. Behind the chalet in the storage area you will find a modern 7kg washing machine and airer. Outside is where I spent most of my time taking in the Mauritian air. It is covered and you can spend all day chilling protected from the sun. The garden is large and there is an area to park you car. The pool was lovely though you may gave to remove twigs and leaves yourself with the provided net. Entrance to the property is gated, though there is no lock, but this is a gated area where security seems makes rounds regularly. Ask for a padlock or bring your own. The house itself has a basic alarm, the windows are barred and the front door has a metal bar sliding lock door. In high winds there is creak, but this is a wooden cabin essentially and I liked it. You can walk the desolate roads and see the waterfall from afar and there are nice views of the mountain, but many of the viewpoints are now blocked with overgrowth. Responsive owner.
