Had an exceptional stay here. The hosts are some of the kindest people I‘ve met on the island. Nice outdoor kitchen with all necessary utensils. Bathroom was clean and spacious.

Wonderful experience in a beautiful house and compound with swimmingpool, the warm welcome of mr Ved and terrific breakfast at the veranda made the stay very special. We came late and didn't need dinner, he invited us to have lunch at the restaurant instead. We highly recommend this Auberge when you are looking for a special experience other then the beach.

We liked everything about this place. Our bubble was on the lake. We were greeted by monkey's, pigs, black swans, geese and deer. Watching the stars as you fall asleep was pretty special. The staff were also friendly. All round a very special place!

Exceptional! We had a wonderful stay here and everything was amazing. We loved the villa and the nature surrounding us. Very good breakfast, it is delivered at the villa in a basket in the morning. I recommend having a car rented as you have to drive a bit from the main road. It is only 6 minutes drive to Chamarel waterfall and 7 coloured earth. For us it was the best accommodation in Mauritius and we regret not staying for at least one more night.

Huge recommendation! You are in super near to many tourist sites and some great stretches of beach. But you are also in a wonderful lodge, with a view into a tropic valleyscape. Top tips: walk the petit piton and go for a sundowner at Lakaz.

Imagine waking up early in the morning, grabbing a coffee, be greeted by two lovely dogs coming to say hi, the sound of birds and the distant noise of the waves. You walk for 3 minutes and you arrive on a beautiful beach, most of the time almost empty,. You can use the kayak, the surf board, bodyboard available at the house, whenever you want to go and see the dolphins even if they often come to the shore. Sanjana and Julien are adorable, so are their 2 kids. We got some fresh eggs coming from their adventurous chicken, they were very kind and helpful throughout our stay. There is a barbecue that we used by the beach…We had an incredible stay and we cannot wait to come again ! Tamarin bay is so much better than Flic en Flac and you have great food options nearby when you spend your day at the beach. The house is located in a secured and quiet place, it’s a fantastic option to discover Mauritius by offering a peaceful space to rest.

The apartment is great, with terrace and everything you need. Different lights incide the house make it cosy. Host was very kind, reply quickly, always interested in my comfortable staying. Kitchen is full equipped, bed is soft, there are always internet and hot water. Thank you so much, it was pleasure to spend my time here!
