The Abbella Lodge Motel was perfect for our family stay. The accommodation was comfortable, and the staff were great - around when needed and in the background, but contactable, when not. The location was perfect - a relatively short drive from the airport, a bus stop with regular buses into the city centre right outside, and with the added bonus of a large supermarket across the road. Would definitely recommend and return for another stay.

Sherbourne Motor Lodge is just a 15-minute walk from the Town Hall and a 20-minute walk from the city centre of Christchurch.

Convenient location, quiet but not far away from city center. Lord lady was nice and gave useful suggestions. The room was big enough for 2 people, tidy and bright. making a good start of our north island round trip! thumps up.
