The lodge, and Ray (the owner), were so lovely! The place actually exceeded my expectations because I was unaware how LARGE the room is. There is an entire downstairs with a living/dining area and a kitchen that is very equipped with utensils, pots&pans, and cleaning supplies, and a huge bathroom, and then upstairs is the room with two beds. More than enough space for myself, and i believe the downstairs sofa can actually be turned into a sofa bed. The place is also pretty close to restaurants, and the beach (which you can see from your window). Wonderful value, and I would be happy to stay here again. I didn't really hear the train, but maybe I am desensitized to those noises from where I live.
