Judith, Josue and their beautiful boy Thiago were absolutely amazing!!!! This was the best stay after a huge bus ride. We were so relaxed watching the sunset cuddled up with a blanket. We were provided with the most incredible food - especially the fried trout and soup Judith prepared. Josue took us on a tour around Uros and also took my partner fishing!!! It was just so great. We didn’t want to leave. We also jumped in the lake which was beautiful and clear. A unique and special stay we will remember forever.

Raul and Ceila were great hosts and explained a lot about the local culture. The room had an awesome view with a porch right next to the water. We were not cold in the night because Raul provided us with hot water bottles for under the blankets. There was also a gas heater available. We really enjoyed our stay and it is a great place to relax a bit.

This is an amazing place. Hosts are wonderful human beings. The view is spectacular. The peace and connection with nature is a total magical adventure. As a world traveler, this became one of my favorite spots from the beginning. No WiFi for me is a plus, as well as the dry bathroom. If you love peace and quiet in nature, this is definitely a place to visit.

The lodge is beautiful. Very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Plenty of spaces to relax both inside and outside and excellent view of the sunset. Walter and his family made us feel at home straight away. They were so welcoming and friendly and taught us lots about the floating islands. The food was also delicious. Hot water bottles at night, a trip on the reed boat and seeing Walter’s museum made our stay even more special. We would highly recommend the lodge. a fantastic place to relax and unwind.

Staying at Amalia Titicaca Lodge with Juan and his wonderful family was one of the highlights of our entire trip to Peru. This is not just a place to stay—it’s a truly unforgettable experience that you simply should not miss. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness. Juan and his family took care of us as if we were their own. When we struggled with the altitude on our first day, they immediately made us feel comfortable, preparing special teas and even giving us hot water bottles for the night. The altitude sickness disappeared overnight, thanks to their care! Juan took us out on a fantastic boat tour of Lake Titicaca, sharing his knowledge and the beauty of the lake with us. In the evening, he cooked us an incredible supper—fresh and delicious. Breakfast the next morning was the same. Everything about our stay was authentic, peaceful, and filled with small, thoughtful touches. But what truly sets this place apart is Juan’s generosity and dedication. Halfway to Cusco, I realized I had left my laptop behind at the lodge—a total panic moment! Juan went above and beyond to make sure I got it back before leaving Cusco, personally organizing for it to be delivered by bus so I wouldn’t have to pay $200 for a private shuttle. I am eternally grateful for his kindness and effort! If you’re looking for a genuine, unforgettable experience on Lake Titicaca with hosts who treat you like family, do not hesitate—book a stay at Amalia Titicaca Lodge. You will be so glad you did. Eddie and his family were so lovely, we really enjoyed this authentic stay on the lake, we watched a storm from our bed with around 10 blankets and a hot water bottle made by the family on our night stay and it made it so special, food was really lovely and we enjoyed the tour

    Raoul's wife cooked simple but delicious dinner and breakfast. What I liked the most is that they provided hot waters upon arrival and also next day morning - delivered to your room and kept you warm. Also the shower is HOT! toilet is super clean, even though the water pressure was a bit low but you can have a hot shower at this place which is amazing. Also the free shuttle from the port and the taxi arrangement from the bus terminal - everything went so smooth. Will definitely recommend to people.

    It’s a unique place to stay and therefore you have to adapt, it’s not 3*, but great fun, just role with it ! Haha. We loved it. Lovely people, very acceptable food. The only electricity is a USB charger point in the cabin, apart from lighting.

    The hosts Wilson and Lisbeth were very kind. They offered us a shuttle to their island. We had very delicious lunch, dinner and breakfast. The view is stunning. The room was very large and we even had warm water in the shower. The dog Kira was very lovely. A really amazing experience. Wilson arranged a tour for us the next day and stored our luggage during that and brought it to our expedition boat at the end of our trip.
