The whole family has welcomed us warmly and did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was big and very delicious! The owner took time to tell us about their habits, life and floating islands. What is more they arranged a free transfer to the island for us as well. We will have the best memories of the family and this place. I highly recommend it!

Everything was just amazing, but warm water bottles in bed were just mind blowing, Titicaca is situated pretty high in the mountains so the nights are really cold, yet owners did their best to make it pleasant and warm 😊

Staying on Uros Island was a truly wonderful experience. We stayed in a beautifully decorated room on the island where Walter's family lives. Walter was incredibly helpful, arranging our arrival (his father picked us up by motorboat). Throughout our stay, the family took great care of us, cooking us delicious meals, and Walter took us on a boat tour of Uros Island, explaining how the islands are built and how the community lives. He then organized a day trip to Taquile Island before we even thought of it ourselves. Walter sells beautiful handicrafts made by his family on the island. Watching the sunrise from the island's observation deck and the breathtaking night sky is an unforgettable experience.

the breakfast was okay, freshly prepared by the owner of the property. not much option, but you will have coffee or tea with pancakes with fresh fruits. the room we stayed overlooks the city lights at night and it is very romantic. during the day, the room gets really hot, however, we get to do lake tours with the owner. for a very reasonable price. lunch/dinner can be provided by owner for a fee, we opt to eat at nearby restaurants. and the owner can speak english very well.

What we liked most was peacefulness of this place. We decided to stop here for two nights and it was an excellent decision to catch breath in our journey through Peru. The lodge was somehow surprising, nice and cozy but very different from any place we slept so far, you have to experience it on your own, one can say it’s survival, we like it very much. Owners arranged transportation from/to Puno, boat trip was included in the lodge package as well as sightseeing of other Uros Islands with presentation of its life and culture. Not to forget, meals we had were simple but very tasteful.

We had this best two nights here. Delia and her family are warm and friendly people. Thank you so much for opening up your island to us! Amazing location. The bed was so big and comfortable. Delia added extra water bottles at night to keep it warm. We slept like babies!!! And the food was delish! Delia is an amazing cook. We really enjoyed learning about the Uros community.
