Breakfast is providing you with coffee, tea, omelette, fresh fruits, sausages. Baiba and Katya are super host and they make you fell at home. Surely my best location in Nungwi. Well done, Love it

Inside and out all new Bangalow, built Dec 2022, grounds make shade for perfect breakfast outside, huge terrace for sitting. Host Rabia went above and beyond to make sure you got everything. Inside, you got fridge, fan, AC to cool down from sun heat. Located next to expensive hotels where you can sit and have drinks. Walk to the beach 5 min just across the road. 20 min walk to main street with local shops food etc. During low tide, go to near light house beach its best for chill in ocean, relax in shade of trees among big volcanic rocks. Not much people around as they stay inside hotels, very safe. You can buy fish and octopus from locals on the beach. Mango, watermelon is a must to eat all day so cheap and lots in February.

Our stay at Utupoa was probably one of the best weeks of our lives! After having just climbed Mount Kilimanjaro a relaxing week in Zanzibar is what we sought and Utupoa was literal paradise. With the beach literally on the back door and the incredible vibes of this extensive tree house- like building it was the most idyllic location. I can’t not mention Joyce, the owner. Joyce was the kindest, funnest and most caring woman, who made sure everything we wanted was catered for and was just a lovely person to chat to over dinner. The food was the best food I’ve ever had and all the staff were incredibly kind and friendly, with a special mention to peter and matty, our two drivers for the week. Overall the best accommodation with the best people.

Overall we can only recommend Sunshine Marine Lodge. Food was really tasty, especially if you know that their sell it (breakfast and dinner) as a half-board. Staff was friendly and always helpful. They work toghether with Floral-tours agency and organize you all transfers and excursion all over the island. There is also Diving point base on the property. So this is really very good place if you want good snorkeling or diving excursion and make a peacful retreat in a small not crowded hotel...

Beautiful location with a pool, 2 min from a beautiful beach. The place was calm and the staff was verry helpful and welcoming. The room was cleaned every day.The food was also verry good. The owners were very nice, definitly recommend.
