Beautiful villa in a great location, only a 5 min walk to the beach and very close to the shops - but still with a nice quiet and secluded vibe. The staff were all wonderful (Ibrahim is an absolute legend) and the breakfasts were delicious! My sister and I will definitely come back to stay next time we’re in paje 🥰

Nice staff. Housekeepers and waiters was kind and friendly. Good location very close the beach. The hotel is located in a beautiful environment. I stayed 1 month here. The kitchen is very good! They make delicious meals!

The staff was friendly and in good mood. Always attentive. The beach was kept clean, which seemed to be part of the 'clean village project', which is actively supported by Blue Reef. We had breakfast and dinner. We have chosen the healthy variety, which was good and rife in fruit. Dinner was excellent. From the concise menu we enjoyed the yellow tuna steak from freshly caught fish by staff (as can be expected in a 'fishing' lodge). We were very pleased by the huge beach that appeared at low tide.

The staff were above and helpful to me and my husband. A dear special thanks to Moses, Mohamed, Steve, Uthman and Amina for accommodating us and making our stay very comfortable. The location is perfect, extremely close walk to the beach. At times there were hardly any people on the beach and it was so romantic. For a couple of weeks stay you can do a few things around the island. The food is amazing and fresh! Most of all, everyone was very welcoming and nice which made it more pleasant. Want to say a special thanks to the other couple staying at the Lodge. If you're reading this Asim and Olive, thanks for the advice and tips! We understand why you're out there for so long, multiple times! Photos shared are from random places. Not of the lodge.

I strongly recommend staying in Mkeka. Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is very nice, and it's just a short walk from the beach. The swimming pool, that is open 24h, is a big plus. The hotel staff is really great and friendly. They will recommend you the best places to see, help you to organise your trips, take you to the best parties in the area, and make you feel like at home :) Great for families, couples and solo travellers :)

Amazing lodge with beautiful garden and nicely designed rooms (the bathroom outside was an additional attraction). Staff is very kind and friendly - greetings to Veronica, Idris and Kalista for making our stay even greater. Sagando is also very close to the beach - just a few minutes walk. I recommend it to everyone.

My family loved staying here. It is bio-friendly and a great way to experience the forest. The official park is a few meters away, so that you can see most of the park around the hotel. Walking around the property at night and hanging out during the day, you'll see incredible wildlife and fauna. We saw bush babies a few meters from our room. The monkeys tend to come in the afternoon. It is an eco-lodge, like staying at a campsite with amenities and clean cabins. If you are looking for a complete nature experience, this is perfect for you--if you need to be pampered, it's not the place for you. The restaurant is excellent. Anyone visiting the park should ask their driver or tour company to include lunch there. They have a lovely porch where you can hang out or have meals. If you have a late lunch, you'll probably see the monkeys.
