The property is beautiful and in the perfect location. In our 3 night say we had visits by Elephants,Bush Buck,Kudu, Hippo,Giraffe, were woken each morning by a family of Baboons and saw Crocodile in the river and Wild Dogs on the other bank. Absolutely fantastic The hosts are amazing and the food was perfect.

Great staff, great food! Guides were very knowledgeable and went out of their way to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. James, the owner would join us for breakfast each morning and shared his knowledge about the area which we enjoyed. We stayed in a newly renovated room which was lovely.

I was in MILIMA with my boyfriend , Keelan. We love everything about MILIMA. The food, the staff, the game drives with Sidney.. We saw the big five! We had the most amazing experience at Muweti. Hardus was incredible - friendly, caring and so knowledgeable & passionate about animals. We saw many wonderful animals and we learnt so much from Hardus & Byron our amazing guides. The lodge itself is lovely - clean, spacious and with a brilliant campfire at night! A real highlight of the lodge is being able to look out into the vast bush and even see some animals come up to the watering hole close by (we saw a herd of elephants!) To anyone considering this lodge: you should definitely book your stay here - I guarantee you won’t regret it!

We were the only guests, and were given a free upgrade to the chalet with private pool. The host and gardener were also very kind and helpful. We greatly enjoyed spotting smaller wildlife from the hide out during the sunset and sunrise, and the peace and quiet of the stay. During the night we were visited by a honey badger twice that tried to get into the cupboards and fridge, some excitement for sure!

Incredible location well located in Hoedspruit! Ruan and his family (owners of the lodge) were super welcoming and so friendly. They let their home become ours which was a very personal touch! Would highly recommend!

WOW - where should I start? Super pleasant and uncomplicated communication with the lodge. Warm welcome, sensational support, assistance is always offered on every topic. The breakfast was incredible - not only was it presented in a first-class manner, it was also super freshly prepared. the atmosphere of the lodge with its attention to the smallest detail is unbelievable! we felt welcome and at home from the very first second - the reality is even better than the pictures suggest! Thank you very much for this great experience - we enjoyed every second and are already looking forward to our next trip to South Africa.

Everything, since the pick up at the airport to the drives on their reserve and the neighbors. Staff did everything to please us and surprised us in the last night with an extra romantic decoration for the room. Also, our last breakfast was by the damn watching the giraffes.
