This is a beautiful tranquil and secluded property with wonderful hosts and staff. The gardens were gorgeous and the hospitality top-notch. It was the ideal place to unwind, relax and savour the sights, scents and sounds of a subtropical paradise. The meals were superb and the service outstanding.

Babohi is an exceptional property nestled in the hills of Waterberg with stunning facilities and warm staff. We requested an upgrade to one of their Buffalo rooms upon arrival and found the room to be beautifully decorated, spacious, clean and well-situated, as we had a few animals visiting our plunge pool during our stay. The highlight of the trip were the game drives together with our friendly and dedicated ranger, Sam. The staff were also very warm and made sure our stay was special. In particular, thank you to Lucy, Veronica, Tebogo and Busang for your hospitality.

We needed something to stay over on the way to Botswana and Vlakkieskraal was ideal. A quiet place, nestled in the bush with everything you need. The owners were super nice and helpful and even upgraded us into one of their bigger units. Can only recommend this place.

A very luxury peaceful accomodation with a stunning view! The super helpfull friendly staff made sure we were taken care of in a five star manner. The food is excellent and contributed to the experience. The gamedrives were very impressive. Special thanks to our guide Louis who was very professional, showed incredible knowledge and was very driven to show us as many animals as possible. As a family we will never forget this experience. Coming from 3 weeks camping in the bush in Botswana , this accommodation felt like heaven . The Sondela reserve has all amenities one can wish on site and the house is just amazing, extremely large and confortable (much better than on the pictures ) . It was the perfect stop on our last day of holidays before heading back to Joburg’s airport.
