That doesn't happen a lot with him. We both decided that this is THE place to celebrate our special anniversary and our many years together. The owner, Loïc, was very kind and accommodated our requests. The property is from the 1920s decorated with unique items but equipped with modern amenities. It was intended to be a refuge from daily life; no TV but with a breathtaking view of the Alps. The property is quite close to the town centre (supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants etc.) but far enough so you can enjoy the peace and quiet of natural surroundings. There are hiking trails all around. Sion is just down the valley, Montreaux and Zermatt are just 1 1/ hours away by car.

The cold mountain air and nature itself. The ground floor was adequate for 4 people. Kitchen had all the equipment needed with a fridge/freezer, induction hub/oven, microwave. The bathroom had very good water pressure and unlimited hot water. Property has a television, satellite receiver and bluetooth sound system with quality speakers. Bathroom fixtures were of good quality, plenty of charging points. The communication with the host was very good as well. We had use of a washing machine as well. Countless hiking opportunities everywhere you look and close to Zermatt, Grindelwald and Kandersteg, all within an hour drive from the property.

Everything you could imagine you need for cooking, cleaning, playing (e.g board games inside, sledges for outside) was there and easily accessible. We had a lovely hamper of chocolate and wine on arrival. Really just had the most fantastic week here. Would recommend a hundred times over.

There is a gondol, but the road is good, and takes 15 minutes. Groceries is near the highway-entry. Friendly and helpful host.
