The place is beautiful, such an amazing view! Our room was spacious and clean, the shower was huge, the beds were comfortable. Federico was very nice and helpful with everything we needed. The breakfast was really good too, and it was lovely to have our morning coffee with such a great view. Lots of monkeys too! The kids enjoyed the little pool and seeing the monkeys. The whole place felt like a piece of nature and we loved every minute of our stay.

The room is large and includes a kitchen equipped with everything you need to prepare a meal. A warm hostess who helps with anything you need. We felt like we were in heaven. Highly recommended.

Staying at La Muñequita Lodge is so much more than just somewhere to sleep. It´s like entering a new, exciting, relaxing, friendly world - with a lot of animals, exotic trees and flowers. The hosts are superfriendly and helpful. The house was spectacular. Basic in one way, but exclusive in another. One detail is that I really loved the wooden floor. So soft for your bare feet. Delicious breakfast and dinner. It was very interesting to hear the hosts history of how they ended up here, and take part of their future plans for their small business. We could safely park our rental car here while we spent three days in Drake Bay. It felt much better than park it by the harbour. The hosts really have big hearts and you leave with a better belief for the humanity. I can strongly recommend to stay here. I will be jealous of everyone of you that will.

Tortuga is 2.4 km from the lodge, while Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary is 29 km away. 10/10 for el pulpo. Lovely couple who made us coffee when the electricity pole fell down and we were unable to use the communal facilities. It was quiet when we were there. Lots of restaurants nearby. Would recommend car access. Very hot shower, it was excellent. Tents were well kept, clean and equipped with a fan.
