It feels like a lot of thought has gone into practicalities - it really is super user friendly and handy. I had planned to stay a week but changed my plans and stayed an extra week instead of looking for other places to just “change the scene” - there is a lot accessible in the driving distance, it’s a good base for visiting Playa Sucia (30 min) or even Crash Boat Beach (a little over an hour drive). The customer service is impeccable. Whenever I needed anything, I always got a reply in less than an hour, including on a Sunday. Top marks for this place!

Jarabacoa is 25 km from Hotel Altocerro. This place was awesome for a relaxing getaway. It was cozy and clean, a perfect escape from the city noise. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. I felt so refreshed after my stay. Definitely coming back here again! Included breakfast was great!
