I loved the peaceful location- down an unpaved track , elevated location with far reaching views. The hosts and their team of staff are just very lovely people- there is a sort of old school home away from home feel to the place. The food is just great in that there are plenty of really healthy options- fresh ingredients and home cooked items. They arranged for me to hike with a neighbour- a french lady who has 10 years experience of all the local tracks- on horseback and on foot...it was fabulous. It was great to have hot water and quality towels and bed linen. I really felt very comfortable here as a solo traveller.

Here, the local community is engaged. The bungalow garden is gorgeous jungle oasis. <3 Everything is very safe, all the food in the village is safe to eat and local people are very friendly.

The loft is thoughtfully designed and surrounded by nature. María was very helpful and welcomed us at the El Valle Lodge Restaurant nearby. The room was comfortable, the terrace was relaxing, and the beach is a short walk away. We also enjoyed a calm happy hour with music at night. Perfect place to disconnect. Will definitely return.
