I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

Nastanitev Hengifosslodge Skáldahús je v mestu Egilsstadir, 5,9 km od znamenitosti slap Hengifoss, in ima razgled na jezero, brezplačen WiFi ter brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. Cute little cottage that had everything, including stovetop and little dining room. Room was comfortable.

Laugarfell Accommodation & Hot Springs is located in the Eastern Highlands and is at the border of Vatnajökull National Park. If you want to self-reflect, chill out and self-discover in the middle of nowhere - this is the place. Very serene atmosphere, beautiful place.

Nastanitev Dreamy Cabin with Sea Views, North Iceland se nahaja v mestu Bakkafjörður in ponuja teraso, brezplačen WiFi ter razgled na morje. The house in the sleepy, remote village is one of the few accommodations in the area offering all amenities (including a washer and dryer) and the comfort of staying alone. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Overall, the house possesses some continental European flair, which feels nice.

Nastanitev Fishing Lodge Hálsakot je v mestu Sleðbrjótur v regiji Austurland in nudi brezplačen WiFi, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter dostop do savne. Very quiet area. The owner let us use the kitchen to make coffee and cook our food. This was helpful during our stay.
