Providing city views, Appi Arts Color in Hachimantai provides accommodation, free bikes, a garden, a shared lounge, a restaurant and ski-to-door access. The lodge features both WiFi and private parking free of charge. Easy access to the ski resort, nice and clean room and lovely public area. It couldn't be such a blast without the prompt help of Tom-san and Henry. The best Christmas holidays ever. 🤘🤠

Great ski location for Iwate Kogen Snow Park and Amihari Onsen Ski Resorts. The owner was very kind and hospitable, would recommend this lodge to my Aussie travellers.

Hachimantai
Appi Life is Beautiful features city views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Hachimantai, 46 km from Morioka Station. The accommodation has a hot tub.
Fitted with a patio, the units offer air conditioning and feature a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with bidet and free toiletries. A fridge and kettle are also provided.
Nice friendly staff. Always very helpful.

Shuttle bus to Appi Kogen ski resort was great (only around 800 metres). Some choose to walk to warm up.
After midday, there were free shuttle buses returning from the resort every 30 minutes that stopped at House Appi diagonally across the road.

The service was top notch and the room with the open-air bath was very nice. It is good value for money too. The surroundings are extremely quiet and peaceful. There is a also a shuttle bus to Koiwai farm during the summer.

The staff were excellent. The shuttle bus service was very convenient and pleasant to use from/to the train station. The onsen at the top of the hotel is the real charm point of this hotel. It’s so relaxing at the end of the day. There are many nice restaurants also surrounding this hotel within walking distance.

It was a 10 minutes walk to the famous beach, and it was quiet for an off saeson March late afternoon. Come to the hotel on their shuttle bus connecting the station abd hotel. The buffet dinner was of high standard.

the owner is very nice. He treated us like as Family. He provided the free shuttle pick up from hostel to ski area. He always smiles and provided the excellent service to us. The hostel is very clean and the shared kitchen is excellent. we can cook by ourselves and the equipment was provided. Everything I was 100% satisfied and I must definitely recommend all people to come here. I will choose again to stay here. the place is very close to the ski area. only drive there 2 to 3 minutes. excellent location.

Near to train station. We got a quadruple room for 3 pax and it was very spacious. Friends were very happy with the layout as the bathroom and toilet are separated, there’s a door that shut the bathroom, toilet and wardrobe from the living and sleeping area.

Very good value for money. Great food and plenty of it. You could walk to the ski field but no need to- there is a hotel shuttle you can arrange daily to take you and pick you up at day’s end (reliable and punctual). You can use the guests onsen or a private one - there is one for two people and another that can accommodate four people. There family rooms (combination Japanese and Western style) were modern, spacious and comfortable.

The only reason to stay here is for the incredible view from the room. Other parts of the hotel are pretty ordinary. Appreciated the shuttle back and forth from Miyako Station, because that area is pretty tough to access if you are not driving.
