The Camp was very close to the Talek gate to Masai Mara Park - 1 minute walk :) 2. A camp itself was very comfortable - spacious, nIce furniture, good washroom; NO problems with hot water or electricity. Very pleasant soap/shampoo. We even had bathrobes :) it was a bit cold in the camp in the evening, but we had a nice warm blanket. 3. The food was delicious. My wife's limitations (no red meet) were satisfied completely. Most importantly, the staff in the ladge was extremely helpful. Our flight had been delayed, and we arrived to the lodge after 11 pm. We'd informed the manager and he organized a hot dinner for us no matter it was late.

Mara’s tents include a wooden, 4-poster bed surrounded by a mosquito net. All have a modern, private bathroom with a double vanity, shower, and flush toilets. Tea and coffee making facilities are in each. The tents were very nice and the staff was fantastic! Silas our driver was the best, couldn't have asked more from a safari experience!

Ol Kiombo Airport is 12 km from the property. Remarkable three days at Kobe Mara. Even though we arrived by car late at night and during a storm, we were warmly welcomed with dinner and blankets. The tent was clean and comfortable, and camp location was excellent. With only 4 tents and 1 large house spaced out from each other, no fences and no other camps around, it is so peaceful (apart from the animals of course!) and a perfect escape from city life. We recommend booking game drives via the camp too - our guide Nickson was incredible and we saw all the animals we had hoped to find. Kobe Mara staff did a fantastic job and everyone was so friendly and kind. As a bonus, we were treated to a group dinner as all guests were departing on the same day, featuring a Maasai celebration. A special thanks to our waiter Jonathan and the manager Sammy for everything :)

John cooked me incredible meals. My game drives with Jonathan were absolutely perfect-i saw 7 cheetahs in 2 days had breakfasts and lunches in the most incredible places. Wilson took such good care of me and even walked with me to the local market. I cannot recommend this place enough.

We stayed in a beautifully designed, cozy room (everything inside was chosen with care and filled with comfort) The atmosphere at Emboo is magical: peaceful nature, evenings around the fire on soft poufs under the stars, delicious meals, and a deep connection to the nature. We would especially like to thank: Felix, our safari guide — calm, deeply experienced, and one of the best in his field. He made every game drive feel personal and insightful. Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. The entire team at Emboo is united by true hospitality, care for nature, and love for what they do. We’re already home, but our hearts are still with you at Emboo. Ol Seki Airstrip Airport is 42 km away, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. Only the few people staying at the 2 properties can safari on the conservancy. Luckily I had the property to myself and was able to spend most of my time in the bush. The staff were awesome especially the safari guide.

This was our very first visit to Kenya, and choosing Drunken Elephant Mara turned out to be the best decision we made! Right from the start, their coordination and hospitality were exceptional. As I was traveling with my family, including our 5-year-old daughter, I had many questions around logistics, bookings, and safety. Every query was answered promptly and patiently, which gave me great confidence and peace of mind. A big thank you to the amazing staff – especially Henry, our courteous and reliable chauffeur, and William, our knowledgeable safari guide and driver, who made our wildlife experience unforgettable. The food was absolutely delicious – every meal was a treat! The location is perfect – just 5 minutes away from the Sekenani Gate – and the entire property felt completely secure and family-friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a smooth, warm, and memorable safari experience in the heart of the Masai Mara. We can’t wait to return!

Sarova Mara Game Camp is nestled within in the heart of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, surrounded by 2 streams the camp also features a exotic trees, a large fish pond and an Maasai village adjoining the camp. The club lounge, the tent experience, and fhe food was amazing!

Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden.

Each tent features a patio with a view of the Mara River. It comes with a seating area and the private bathroom includes a shower. I have stayed at Mara River Camp before and I will continue to stay there every time I come to the Mara. The location is fabulous, so many animals right in the camp, and right on the River Mara. The food is amazing and the staff is amazing. The rooms are great too.
