We had a motorbike so getting up the steep road was no problem. Room was very spacious and had lots of areas to chill inside and outside. The view was also spectacular and host was very friendly

The Mountain View rooms, with their full glass windows and private patio seating, offer breathtaking views and beautifully curated interiors. The serene, secluded setting, away from the main town and that was exactly what I was looking for, surrounded only by the soothing sounds of nature and birdsong. Wi-Fi is not available, which was perfectly fine for me, as it added to the peaceful, unplugged experience. The staff were incredibly courteous, prompt, and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. A special mention to Mr. Inthizar, the owner and host, whose warmth, helpfulness, and genuine hospitality truly set this place apart. He went above and beyond, not only ensuring our stay was comfortable, but also helping with taxis, sharing local tips, and even guiding us during our trip after we had checked out. If I could, I’d give this place 11 out of 10 stars. Highly recommended for anyone seeking calm, scenic, and heartwarming hospitality away from city’s chaos.

The family was incredibly warm and welcoming. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It was clear that they value people more than money, which made the experience feel so genuine and heartfelt. The breakfast was also really delicious and freshly prepared. Riverside view is the other key point here. i got to know that it's the longest river in Sri Lanka "Mahaweli River". I definitely reserve this hotel for my next visit to Sri Lanka. Would definitely recommend to a friend or a colleague to pay a visit to stay here. Mr. Pathirana, the owner warmly welcomed us and briefed us about the facilities and amenities. He recommended us the exceptionally good Pittu (which we claim the best Pittu we ever had) cooked for dinner by his cook, Mr. Chaminda. And he recommended to us their special Kiribath (milk rice) made from a special rice for breakfast. The room was very cozy and had everything we needed. The room had a bathroom and an outdoor shower carved out of a single granite. The backyard of the room was a small hill, grown with flowers and vegetables. On top of the hill (about 25m-50m away from the room), there was a swing decorated with flowers. The dinner and the breakfast were filling and tasty. Mr. Asanka warmly arranged the table for us. After breakfast, Mr. Chaminda walked us to their nearby land to show us their vegetable garden, water lily (Olu) pond and the well next to the Kubuk tree. It was an unforgettable stay for us and we thank Mr. Pathirana, Mr. Chaminda, Mr. Asanka and Mr. Pathirana's wife for that.

The property has an outdoor dining area. The view, the pool, the food, the house on its own and especially the hosts, who want to make you feel as comfortable as possible. It was all amazing!

The property has garden and city views, and is 1.5 km from Kandy Museum. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk and full-day security for guests. spacious rooms and neatly organized. Location was also fine, we were able to walk and get a tuktuk at one night otherdays we had car. Steps are also not much, elders can also manage.
