The hosts invited us for a meal and red wine made by the father of the property. It's a very quiet place. Very rural, with kind, warm people. But the best was yet to come. In Montenegro, it's a tradition to celebrate the birth of a baby boy. The owner of the property had 3 girls, but just had his first boy and it was celebration time! They invited us for the party, with something like 150 people. What a party! What a local experience. Will never forget. Of course we realized we wouldn't be able to sleep that night, and ended up leaving earlier. The owner refused to accept money for both nights that we stayed there! And on the first one there was no party going on at all. The generosity of this family will stay in my heart forever.

It's set in a cute little garden that's really well kept, and the room has all the comforts you'd expect from a nice hotel. It's far enough from the hustle and bustle of Virpazar to feel like a peaceful getaway, but still super easy to get to for boat trips on Skadar Lake. Milan, our host, was awesome, really attentive and full of great tips on where to eat and what to see. We especially loved the private boat trip with him, it was fantastic and a definite highlight of our stay. If you're thinking about staying here, I totally recommend it. It's a perfect spot for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday!

Offering a garden and garden view, Valley Nest is situated in Virpazar, 31 km from Clock Tower in Podgorica and 32 km from Parliament of Montenegro. Very nice place and welcoming host. Took us on a cruise on the lake. Great value.

One of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. The house is super well equipped and the attention to detail with the decor and antiques gave a cozy, traditional feel to the property. Not to mention the view which is absolutely breathtaking & perfect for star gazing in the evening. Thank you to Jovan & his family for such a wonderful stay in their holiday home.
