The experience itself is really cool, but you need to put on a lot of clothes because it is going to be cold. You will never forget the water bottle.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights at the Utasa Lodge it was such a relaxing experience with wonderful views and the thick blankets kept us warm at night. They prepared for us fantastic dinner and breakfast. We experienced an incredible view of the sunset over the lake, followed by the sunrise the next morning. Mama Lea is a very good cook! We had great meals. Transfer round trip is offered for 80 soles which is fair since it's around 30 minutes per way.

First off, what a magical experience this stay was from the people to the views to the room! Walter and his family really made this stay so special, they are the kindest people ever! From the moment we arrived they treated us with such care and love, Walter’s dad picked us up and dropped us off at the port, Walter took us on a private tour of the Uros Island in the traditional boats, his mom cooked the most wholesome dinner and breakfast for us, his mom also showed us her handmade artesiana, which were all so beautiful and we were able to purchase some to take a piece of them home and support this wonderful family. They made sure we were comfortable at all times, the room was spacious, had a heater for the nighttime, since it gets cold, plenty of blankets, hot showers, spectacular views, what else can you ask for?! They talked to us about their rich culture, which was impressive and it was a gift that they allowed us to take a peak into their everyday life as foreigners were not allowed back then in the Uros. Inca Manco Cápac International Airport is 48 km from the property, and the property offers a paid airport shuttle service. the breakfast was okay, freshly prepared by the owner of the property. not much option, but you will have coffee or tea with pancakes with fresh fruits. the room we stayed overlooks the city lights at night and it is very romantic. during the day, the room gets really hot, however, we get to do lake tours with the owner. for a very reasonable price. lunch/dinner can be provided by owner for a fee, we opt to eat at nearby restaurants. and the owner can speak english very well.

They did everything to make our stay perfect. One of the best parts of our trip to Peru. The food is fantastic and the trips on the lake were wonderful and Juan told us all about life on the lake for the Uros people. We don’t want to leave. Sunny during the day and cold at night. The comfiest beds with loads of blankets and hot water bottles.

The property is 7 km from the city centre, and right in front of Titicaca lake. The rooms had a beautiful view of the lake and nearby green mountain. The beds were comfortable with an outdoor deck day bed as well. The night was cold, but plenty of blankets kept us warm. The food was fresh and tasty and each family member contributed to our wonderful stay. Transportation was arranged by the host from our hostal by taxi to the port and then a boat took us for a short ride to the hotel within Uros Island.
