We spent 2 wonderful weeks on the island of Mahe, where we rented this beautiful house by the sea. The house does not have a view of the sea, although it is in the immediate vicinity, but it is surrounded by a wonderful tropical garden, it is spacious, very clean and in a peaceful environment. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Definitely recommend. We also recommend renting a car.

Chalets d'Anse Forbans leží u písečné pláže zálivu Anse Forbans v okresu Takamaka. Jedná se o ubytování s možností vlastního stravování, v bungalovech s panoramatickým výhledem na Indický oceán. The hosts, Daphne, Brigitte, Lisa and Jean-Pierre, were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The chalet was nice with everything you need for your stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The beach is delightful. The sea is great for swimming and snorkelling. If you start snorkelling from near the 'Giant Rock' you can drift down with the current (not too strong) back towards the chalets. Make sure when swimming that you have beach shoes as there are sea urchins in the water. We were also lucky enough to see a baby turtle make its way to the sea. We had a fabulous stay and would definitely return.

Kokogrove Chalets se nachází na ostrově Mahé a nabízí dřevěné chaty s možností vlastního stravování a výhledem na bazén a svěží zahradu. Nachází se na kopci Enfoncement, 1 km od pláže Anse Royale. Lise, the owner, was a fantastic host. We felt like we were visiting a family member. She was very helpful whenever we have asked. Our chalet was nice and comfortable, everything was functional in the rooms. We rented a car for the whole trip, so the hotel's location was very good for us as the best beaches (by season) were close. Her famous complementary dinner night was fun with good food. There is a small shop at the beginning of the hill to the hotel, which was a holiday saver for shopping for breakfast, snacks, and drinks. If we go to Mahe again, we will stay in Kokogrove Chalets. The room is clean and comfortable, the kitchenette is well equipped and the bathroom is spacious with nice hot water in the shower and a washing machine! The balcony is so lovely. It’s quiet and peaceful and easy to access great beaches if you have a rental car. Highly recommend, we loved our stay here!
